Sean Connery Voted Most Popular Celebrity to Read Emails and Texts to Drivers

Scottish legend beats Darth Vader and Angelina Jolie in Avaya poll

GUILDFORD, UK –   Sean Connery has topped a poll by Avaya, Inc. (NYSE:AV), to search for the celebrity voice most people would want to hear reading them emails and text messages while they drive.  The ability to safely access and respond to emails and texts while on the road is a key benefit of Avaya’s Unified Communications solutions portfolio. 

 The research, which surveyed over 2,200 people, found that Mr. Connery was the most popular celebrity choice for both men and women across the US, UK and Australia.  John Cleese (or perhaps Basil Fawlty?), was the second most popular choice among men, with Darth Vader coming in a close third.  Among women, Darth Vader and Angelina Jolie tied in third place.  Jack Nicholson, Borat and Lauren Bacall also featured as popular choices but Sean Connery was the runaway winner, taking 31 per cent of the overall vote.
